Things to do
A sporting paradise, we are minutes walk from Rock sailing and waterskiing, the world-famous St Enodoc golf links, access to a private tennis court and surfing at Polzeath 20 minutes by car. A walkers idyll, Greencourt has direct access from the house to the dunes, bays and Cornish coastal path, Bodmin Moor and ancient stone circles are a 30 minute drive.

Rest & Relaxation
Greencourt is a perfect place to relax and wind down. Enjoy the peace and comfort of the home, the panoramic views from the crows nest and the shelter of the large garden nestled
among the trees. Or take a walk directly from the house across the dunes, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, to the local bays and coves. Or venture across the golf
course, following the white stones, to the St Enodoc Church (20 min walk) where Sir John Betjeman is buried.

Sailing, Waterskiing, Powerboating, Paddle-boarding
The Camel estuary is renowned for its dinghy sailing. The Camel Sailing and Powerboat Centre located at the pontoon (3 min walk) offers tuition and dinghy hire. Powerboat
courses are also available.
The estuary is a broad tidal river over half a mile wide at Padstow and stretching inland 5 miles to Wadebridge. Sailing is best around high tide, check the Padstow Tide Tables.
The Rock Sailing & Waterski Club (2 min walk) is located in a Grade II listed building on Rock Quay with commanding views over the estuary. It is the centre of water sports and social activities in Rock, a great place to enjoy a drink or meal. Membership is not expensive, temporary memberships may be offered in 2025.

Golf
The St Enodoc Golf Club (2 min walk) has two 18-hole courses, the world famous Church course, immortalised in Betjeman’s poem Seaside Golf, and the Holywell course. The
course circles the St Enodoc churchyard, and is also famous for its 40 foot high Himalaya bunker which you have to hit over to reach the green. Simply book your tee time and enjoy
your round.
There is another spectacular links course at Trevose Golf Club (40 min drive).

Surfing, Kiteboarding
Polzeath beach (15 min drive) is one of the north coast’s best surfing destinations with ample parking on the beach. Boards and wetsuits can be hired at Ann’s Cottage.
Daymer Bay (10 min drive) is a popular destination for windsurfing and kiteboarding. The narrow lane to the Carpark can get congested in summer.

Hiking and Coastal Walks
There are numerous spectacular cliff top walks all along the Cornish coast. A favourite is a circular walk (2 hrs) across the twin headlands of The Rumps and Pentire Point. Drive to
Pentire Farmhouse (15 min drive) to park and walk from there.
Another great walk is to Lundy Bay, a 20 min walk from Lundy Bay Carpark (15 min drive). Best at low tide. You can pick mussels here.
Other coastal walks: Pentire to Lundy Bay, Lundy Bay to Port Quin, Port Quin to Port Isaac. Port Isaac (20 min drive) is a small fishing village, the backdrop of the TV show Doc Martin.
There are great inland walks too on Bodmin Moor.

Tennis & Paddle
There is access to a private tennis court in Rock (3 min drive, 15 min walk), please enquire with the Owners.
There are tennis and padel courts and a swimming pool and golf course at The Point at Polzeath (10 min drive). Tennis coaching also available.
